Used Cars Simulator is a sim game that’s more like a trailer park Grand Theft Auto in vibes than a realistic simulator game.
Repairs in the demo are done with just banging on the various body panels with a hammer and consumes scrap metal you found wandering the desert. The driving controls are a bit flighty, the car names areā¦lacking. I get that the main car in the demo is meant to be a 67 Mustang fastback, but a “Fort Must” could be a “Blovel Brumby” or something else more imaginative.
A lot of the game is cheap and crude and trashy, and for the most part, if that’s your thing, that’s fine. It does feel a bit asset flippy though, though there does appear to be some real work being put into the game. Well, at least from the looks of the trailers, rather than what you see in the demo. So it’s more a vibe or feeling that’s hard to shake. It does have some missions to earn some cash and you’re given the option of legal or…less than legal options.
Used Cars Simulator is in early access and their Steam page indicates a Q2 2024 planned release.
