You do it all in Supermarket Simulator, or at least in the demo where you can’t hire staff.

Set up your shelves, order food, bring in the boxes and stock the shelves, set prices, turn on the lights in the evening, be the cashier and make sure to give proper change. Now, I’ve spent my share of my youth stocking shelves and operating a cash, so none of this is new to me.

The main struggle can ease up some when you at least start getting the money to afford more shelves, and more stock, so you don’t need to try and constantly restock mid-day. Once I got past that, it really meant all I was doing was handling the checkout.

I’m not sure what to really say here, I dumped a bunch of time into it, I was going to record the gameplay on this one, but sadly had issues with the recording. It was sorta addictive in a “one more turn” sorta way, but I’m not sure it was FUN, you know? I still think I might wishlist it and see where it goes later.

Supermarket Simulator has launched at 12.99 USD with an introductory 20% off, and is rated as Very Positive, noting the dev has been hard at work addressing any issues being reported.
