Neko Odyssey has you wandering a small Japanese town as a kid with a phone, a social media account, and a love of taking cat pictures. There isn’t that much to the demo, and I’m not sure it needs that much more.
So that’s what you do, looking around the town, working to befriend cats to get different poses, get more likes, and from it’s Steam page, though not really present in the demo so much…uncover some sort of mystery with a storyline. The pixel graphics are well done, though I’m unsure if it’s just an effect done over 3D models.
The demo itself is fairly simple and quick, and appears to be still up at time of writing, with the game looking to launch sometime later in 2024.
