Miglorn is a mix of a handful of games, where you’ve got crafting and city building, some nighttime survival, some action rpgish style dash and slash.
You’re this lil vikingish dude and need to harvest and start building your town to protect your altar, making sure your people are housed and fed, and eventually given jobs. The jobs depend on what you’ve unlocked for tech tree, but will start with harvesting, and eventually move into defense jobs. At night, skeletons attack, in increasing numbers, in increasing strength. Not that daytime is fully safe, as you’ll run into slimes and goblins, but you’ll need to kill them for resources as well.
So the cycle begins of how much you can survive against. I personally went too spread on my build, and paid the price in not being able to wall it or set up defenses effectively. You can get pretty far with attacking with your own weapons though, as long as you’re willing to risk death and resurrection.
I’m not sure what endgame looks like, if there is a “win condition” or you just keep building up, but for those willing to take on the challenge, the demo is still up and the games also already released for 9.99 USD.
