I don’t think there is a lot to say about Fix This House. Less so than my current writing, which means I can fix my actual house (what is going on with this one toilet?!).

So, in short, a bunch of blocks that build a house drop onto the map, and you have to orient them and place them to rebuild the house. Now, you don’t see what it looks like before you start, so you can blindly work it out, or hit the very needed hint button that at least gives you the outline. If the game was more free-form, you could live without, but I think there are only a few pieces that end up interchangeable on each map.

Overall, it’s at least a cool concept, and once you get the hang of it, it’s more of the chill experience. The demo’s still around to try, and has more levels than I bothered to solve (which was around 10?). The game itself doesn’t have a release date, but I’d suspect that with the level of “done” it feels already, it shouldn’t be too much longer.
