So, Next Fest is finished yet again, and I have a ton of demos to still play and even more to review. I had grabbed a total of 84 games, I’ve already written about 11, with 18 or so more played games I can write about and will get to today. There are also 3 games I have banished to the shadow realm and will never mention even in passing yet again. I even managed to stream some of the games, so they’re over as VOD’s on my Twitch.
This Fest saw the first dev who had found my blog and emailed me to thank me for writing and liking their game. While I only write this blog because I enjoy it, it’s a nice feeling to get that sort of attention. It does make it easier to try and keep things going as it’s been going, writing because I feel like it and skipping a lot of extra hassle like trying to add ads or a newsletter or something. Getting money would be nice, but, I’d rather have a proper job.
Anyway, I’m going to get back to the reviews and playing demos and looking forward to the next fest on June 26.
