Back before I stopped using Twitt…X, I started a thread of Next Fest games I tried out, trying to keep things within a single post. Then I did the same on Bluesky for the last two fests. However a lack of scheduling feature and my sleep schedule kept half of them in drafts. I figure I can use this old space for something.
This is sorta game reviews, but don’t look for scores. Just thoughts, vibes, and hopes. Most of the games are demos, and some are unfinished and I try to respect that. I’ve tried making games on my own as side projects, and it’s a lot of work, and I still haven’t released any of them. Maybe later I’ll touch on some larger releases or my old favorites I keep returning to.
For now, I’m looking forward to February 5th when Next Fest returns.
