Do you like frogs? I love frogs, frogs are fantastic. I’m also more than used to the sounds of frogs, given where I live near some wetlands myself.
Which is good, because Croakoloco is all about frog sounds, and frogs. It’s and idler/clicker game where you gacha pull frogs from packs in the ingame shop with gold you earn by raising, keeping, and selling frogs.
You grab your pack of frogs, shake the baby frogs out of it, and they come in different breeds as well as rarities. They’ll earn passive income per minute, and also earn money by eating flies, which is the clicker component (though thankfully you can just hold down right click). You can also sell frogs, which will earn a certain amount based on that breeds rarity as well as the individual frogs rarity. You can use the money to buy more frogs or buy upgrades for things like your tank to hold more frogs.
There is also a “froggy mode” where you can take direct control of a frog and also spawns golden flies to hunt down for more money than the average fly.
Croakoloco is planned for 2024 and there still seems to be a “download demo” button hiding in the sidebar under “is this game relevant to you?”. Just be prepared to for the chorus of your own making.
